The Development Coordinator supports Centro Hispano’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts by helping to build and strengthen development systems and workflow. This role ensures donor data stays accurate, acknowledgements go out on time, and donor communications—in English and Spanish—are consistent and well-executed. The coordinator also supports fundraising events, including the Latino Awards, and works closely with the Development Director to implement processes, track follow-ups, and strengthen stewardship. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable working across multiple platforms, including social media, the organization’s website, Canva, Google Docs, and Google Slides. This position is perfect for someone with development operations experience who is eager to grow and be coached within a developing department.

 

This position exists to: 

  • Strengthen Centro Hispano’s fundraising and donor engagement capacity to help sustain and grow support for the Latino community in East Tennessee.
  • Ensure fundraising, donor communications, and engagement efforts are organized, consistent, and effective in supporting programs focused on education, workforce development, and community integration.
  • Build and maintain strong supporter relationships through accurate donor data, engaging communications, and successful fundraising events that advance Centro Hispano’s mission.
