The Front Office Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for the Roane County United Way (RCUW), providing a welcoming and professional experience for guests, donors, and community partners. Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, this role manages incoming calls, greets and assists visitors, supports the creation of marketing materials and social media posts, manages in-kind donations, provides administrative support, and ensures an organized and efficient front office environment. The Front Office Coordinator also plays a key support role in the planning and execution of the Roane County United Way Fair, with hours increasing temporarily in May providing on-site support during the event.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: This is a specialist position that reports directly to the supervisor. The nutrition specialist is responsible for a wide variety of tasks involving daily diet preparation and delivery for all animals, food procurement and stock management and the daily upkeep of the commissary. The individual must be able to carry out the position’s duties as described below and comply with Zoo Knoxville policies and procedures as they appear in the Employee Handbook and departmental protocols.
