Summary

We are seeking a Health & Wellness Program Manager who is passionate about helping people improve their health and well-being. The ideal candidate has experience working directly with individuals to create realistic, personalized wellness routines and is motivated to educate others on nutrition, exercise, tobacco cessation, and diabetes prevention. This role plays a key part in delivering and expanding SCF’s Health & Wellness programs for the trucking community.

Description

We are a collaborative, rewarding, customer-centric non-profit organization serving over-the-road truck drivers. We offer drivers free health & wellness programs including diabetes prevention, nicotine and smoking cessation, chronic disease management, at-home cancer screenings, and vaccine vouchers. In addition, we offer financial assistance for essential household expenses when truck drivers experience an illness or injury that took them off the road.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver Health & Wellness programs independently and collaboratively.
Collect and maintain participant information, including relevant medical history.
Support individuals in achieving health goals set by their healthcare providers.
Facilitate virtual diabetes prevention and chronic disease management sessions.
Coach participants through tobacco cessation, including tracking incentives and ordering cessation products.
Write health and wellness content for blogs, magazines, and social media.
Provide a monthly radio segment and participate in occasional interviews as needed.
Coordinate vaccine vouchers and cancer screening opportunities.
Conduct outreach to secure funding for Health & Wellness programs.
Engage audiences through social media posts and live content.
Plan and lead an annual health challenge.
Collaborate with the Communications Manager on marketing materials and website updates.
Prepare quarterly program reports for the Board of Directors.
Conduct outreach to CDL schools and trucking companies to promote free programs.
Travel occasionally to truck shows, conferences, and industry events.
Participate in quarterly Health & Wellness Committee meetings.

Requirements

Qualifications
Experience in health coaching, wellness programming, or a related field.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable leading virtual sessions and public-facing outreach.
Passion for health, wellness, and helping others succeed.
