SHADES of Development, a well-established afterschool program in East Tennessee, is currently seeking Afterschool Leaders to join our team!

Assistant Director Hours:
Elementary — 1:00 PM–6:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Preschool — 11:30 AM–6:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate engaging activities and group games
Encourage learning through creative projects and play-based experiences
Assist with snack distribution and smooth transitions between activities
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-supervised environment
Prepare activity spaces and handle end-of-day cleanup
Ideal Candidates Will Have
Previous experience working with children
A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and dependability
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
A bachelor’s degree
Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing
